Biden’s America: Gas Prices Have Broken Records For Two Consecutive Weeks
Joe Biden’s economy is crushing everyday Americans.
For two straight weeks, the national price of gas has hit a new record high.
Gas prices, however, have broken records for two consecutive weeks, putting strain on Americans’ wallets and the economy as a whole.
Currently, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA), the new highest national average gas price ever recorded came on Monday, with regular unleaded fuel costing $4.596.
The national average for a gallon of gas was $4.59 on Friday, a slight increase from the day before and a new record high.
Biden seems to care little about the rising price of gas even claiming it might be a good thing because it would get the world away from using fossil fuels.
President Biden said that the country is going through an “incredible transition” away from fossil fuels via the high gas prices being experienced nationwide.
Biden made the statement on gas prices during a joint press conference with Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Monday.
“Here’s the situation. And when it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden said, seeming to justify or praise those sky-high prices Americans face at the pump.
