The Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas was a major, sold-out hit last night, according to President Trump, who said the event was far bigger, better, and more important than anyone thought possible.
Trump said the convention streamed “all over the place” and drew big numbers despite going up against the NFL, claiming the overall numbers beat the NFL.
He also said the arena set new attendance records, with the venue packed and thousands more people outside unable to get in. Screens were provided for those who could not enter.
Trump said the turnout showed that people “LOVE TRUMP POLITICS!” and announced that he will return tonight to close out the convention.

Trump laid out two sharply contrasting paths for America after the midterms.
He said, “In 55 days, Americans will be going to the polls in one of the most important elections in our country’s history. Your vote will decide whether our country stumbles at the starting gate of the next 250 years or surges forward and never ever looks back.”
Trump also warned, “We hand America’s future to the radical left Democrats, and our nation will spend the next decade just getting back on its feet. It will be a tragedy. Vote Republican, and we will leave the world in our dust for generations to come. There’ll be nothing like it.”
